Kamafuseyama Ski Resort
The Kamafuseyama ski resort is located on the Shimokita Peninsula, the northernmost point on the main island, at the southern peak of the Kamafuse Mountains. It is rare to have a view of the ocean (Mutsu Bay) while playing golf. Iwakisan Hyakuzawa Ski Resort
This ski resort is a great spot located in the rich nature of Mt. Iwaki, also known as the Mt. Fuji of Tsugaru, with a panoramic view of Hirosaki City. Makado Onsen Ski Area
It is a ski area located on the northeastern slope in Noheji Town, Makado Onsen, where can be access in approximately 10 minutes by car from JR Noheji Station. The ski area is not so large with three chairlifts and one surface lift for five courses, however any skiers or snowboarders can enjoy mainly the slope for intermediates. From the panoramic course with a total length of 2000 meters at an altitude of 310 meters, you can look down the panoramic view of the Mutsu Bay. For children and beginners, popular course is recommended, and for advanced skiers, riizen course is waiting with a slope angle of 30 degree. After skiing, visitors can enjoy and relax with hot spring of a public large bath and open-air bath made of Aomori hiba, at Makado Kanko Hotel annexed to ski area.
